Weeknight Cheese Steak Sandwiches

When time is short, these cheese steak sandwiches will satisfy your family in a flash.


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup frozen Pictsweet Farms 3 Color Pepper & Onion Strips
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 pound deli roast beef, sliced thin and cut into strips
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls


  1. HEAT oil in a skillet. Sauté frozen pepper and onion strips until onions are translucent. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  2. ADD roast beef and Italian seasoning to the skillet and cook on medium until all is heated through. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
  3. PLACE 1 slice of cheese on each roll and spoon beef mixture on top.
  4. ADD any sandwich toppings you desire like lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, etc.
