Delicious Collard Greens

A traditional recipe to share with good friends who love great food.



  1. HEAT reserved bacon drippings in a medium pan and cook frozen onions until translucent.
  2. ADD frozen greens and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. REDUCE heat, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes until tender. Add bacon crumbles, vinegar and sugar. Stir to blend and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. SEASON with salt and pepper as desired.
