Corn Fritters

This is tasty with powdered sugar or maple syrup.


  • 2 cups frozen Pictsweet Farms White Shoepeg Corn
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • dash freshly ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil


  1. PREPARE frozen corn according to package directions and drain.
  2. PURÉE corn, egg, salt, sugar, pepper and flour in a food processor. Mixture will be thick and slightly chunky.
  3. HEAT oil in a skillet. Drop corn mixture by tablespoons into hot oil.
  4. FRY on each side until golden brown. Serve with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
