Beef Stew

There is nothing like serving your family a hearty stew.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound beef cubes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 (16 oz.) package frozen Pictsweet Farms Vegetables for Stew
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. HEAT oil in a stockpot and cook beef thoroughly.
  2. ADD frozen vegetables and remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  3. COVER and boil for 3 minutes.
  4. REDUCE heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
