Asparagus with Asian Butter Sauce

This dish would be the perfect side to any oriental style dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) package frozen Pictsweet Farms Asparagus Spears
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. PREPARE frozen asparagus according to package directions. Drain and pat dry.
  2. MELT butter in a saucepan and sauté onion until tender.
  3. REDUCE heat to low, add remaining ingredients and stir.
  4. HEAT until warm and pour over asparagus to serve.
