Sweet and Sour Peas

This dish is a perfect complement to roast pork or chicken.

In a saucepan, place frozen field peas with snaps, onions, water, vinegar, sugar, salt, and red pepper. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until peas are tender.
