Holiday Glazed Carrots

Apricot preserves give a great taste for many dishes. It is especially good with carrots.


  • 2 (12 oz.) packages frozen Pictsweet Farms Sliced Carrots
  • 1/3 cup apricot preserves
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • fresh lemon juice to taste


  1. PREPARE frozen carrots according to package directions and drain.
  2. HEAT and strain apricot preserves.
  3. MELT butter in a skillet. Stir in preserves liquid and remaining ingredients.
  4. COOK until glaze begins to thicken. Add carrots to the pan and coat with glaze.
