Hearty Vegetable Soup

Add a hot corn bread muffin to make this a perfect meal for a chilly evening.


  • 1 (24 oz.) package frozen Pictsweet Farms Mixed Vegetables
  • 2 cups frozen Pictsweet Farms Chopped Onions
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced, undrained tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Place mixed vegetables, onions, broth, celery and garlic in Dutch oven. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, macaroni, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
