Fancy Turnip Greens

This is soul food with spirit.



  1. PLACE frozen greens, onions, and bacon drippings in a saucepan. Cover with water, bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  2. REDUCE heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Drain and place in a warm serving dish.
  3. SEASON with salt, pepper and vinegar. Toss to blend.
  4. SPRINKLE eggs and bacon over the top of greens.
