Directions
- PLACE all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
- REDUCE heat and simmer for 15 minutes until carrots are tender and rice is soft. Cool slightly.
- PURÉE in batches in a food processor.
- RETURN to pan and heat through.

- 1 (12 oz.) package frozen Pictsweet Farms Sliced Carrots
- 3/4 cup frozen Pictsweet Farms Chopped Onions
- 1 (32 oz.) package chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons brown rice, uncooked
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
