Brussels Sprouts with Hot Bacon Dressing

This hot bacon dressing does wonders for this already popular vegetable.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3 strips bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled and drippings reserved
  • 1 (20 oz.) package Pictsweet Farms Baby Brussels Sprouts

Directions

  1. BLEND egg, sugar, vinegar, water and mustard in a small bowl. Cover and place in refrigerator until cold.
  2. ADD egg mixture to bacon drippings.
  3. SIMMER until the sauce becomes thick.
  4. PREPARE frozen Brussels sprouts according to package directions, drain and place on a serving dish. Pour sauce over sprouts, sprinkle with bacon and serve.
