Directions
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
- COOK bacon in a Dutch oven until brown. Remove cooked bacon, crumble and reserve drippings. Cook frozen seasoning blend in bacon drippings until onions become translucent.
- ADD broth, frozen peas, rice, salt and pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
- COVER and place in the oven. Bake for 45 minutes or until peas and rice are tender. Add bacon pieces, stir and serve.
